The ingredients will be:
- Whole chicken about 800grams
- Schwartz Special Blend Classic Barbecue spice
- Salt to taste
- Butter (For the golden brown effect on the chicken)
Steps:
- De-frost chicken and wash them clean from any feathers or sort.
- Once clean, rub the chicken with table salt all around the chicken.
- Do the same with the Schwartz Special Blend Classic Barbecue spice.
- Place them in a container. I would prefer to place them in the fridge for at least 24 hours before I cook them. It will ensure that the flavour will penetrate into the chicken beyond the skin.
- After marinating, place the chicken on a glass plate which oven friendly.
- Apply butter onto the chickens skin to get the burn effect.
- Meanwhile set the oven to a temperature of 400 degree to warm up for about 10 minutes.
- Now turn the oven to 250 degree and place your chicken into the oven.
- This will take about 25 minutes to 30 minutes.
Was with my colleague, Mr. Zul. The chicken just disappear after 10 minutes. I took half and so as he~!
